Hello Brothers and Sisters In Christ,
I do believe that we need encouragement each and every moment and this encouragement comes from the Word of God through His people.
Considering myself as a servant of Jesus I feel that I ought to share with you how God is working in an Islamic Country, Pakistan, whose population is 97% Muslim.
Lately Pastor Anwar Anyat, associate pastor at New Hope Christian Church, baptized 8 people who confessed Jesus as their Lord and savior. We do believe that now they have a new standing before God, because they are forgiven (See Acts 22:16; 1Peter 3:21).
New Hope Church was started in 2002, at the beginning we used to gather in a home. But now by the grace of God we have a small church building which is only 25' x 15'. We have almost 100 members in the church. We are really facing a shortage of room in our church. Sometime people have to stand out side the Church building.
I hope this mail meet you well and encouraging to your faith. Feel free to check out our website to know what God id doing through our Ministries in Pakistan. Desperate need of your spiritual and financial support to extend our ministries all over Pakistan
God bless you,
In His Service,
Pastor Sam |

Hello Brothers and Sisters,
Its long been my desire to get a Master Degree from an accredited university to increase my Bible knowledge. Thanks to God, I got a student visa and am planning to join this university as soon as possible in fall 2009. I have been praying for this for a long time. I always asked God to please show me your will and open the door for me. I have experienced that our God is a God of possibility and He knows where we can be better used to fulfill His will. He has already fixed a time for everything.
My Church has recommended to me that I get further studies and make known to our Christian Brothers and sisters about the New Hope Christian Church and New Hope School achievements and future challenges. I hope my study time in the USA help me to raise funds for our future Bible College.
I am very thankful to all my brothers and sisters to the depth of my heart who helped me to make my studies possible in USA.
This is in my plan that I will try my best to visit Pakistan, while I study, accompanied by friends who are interested to see the work of New Hope Christian Ministries of Pakistan in Pakistan.
In the future, I will be able to let you know when I arrive in USA.
God bless you, In His Love,
Sam

Hello My Brothers and sisters ,I hope all is well with you.. I am sorry I could not contact you on daily bases. Anyway Church is growing very fast. School has summer vacation now in a day.
Pakistan is still struggling for its stability. The Taliban are doing suicide attacks almost every day in different parts of Pakistan.
In terms of Pakistan, no place or situation is immune to such incidents. Pakistan has seen a surge in the incidence of suicide bombing with the highest numbers reported in 2007 - there were 71 suicide bombing attacks in one year alone. In contrast to 22 incidents from 2002 to 2006. Now the average suicide bombing is one every week. Lahore is also on the Taliban hit list. Two big attacks have already been happened in Lahore lately.
Businessmen are reluctant to invest money in Pakistan, many factories and companies have been shut down, thousands of workers have lost their jobs. People are overwhelmed with fear, frustration, depression and anxiety. People are scared to visit any public place. Now you can imagine how it is hard to survive in Pakistan. Every day news papers are decorated with bloody dead bodies and scattered organs of the victims of the suicide bombing.
This Sunday I spoke on 1Jn.4:7-12 that how we can show Gods love to our neighbor regardless of any religious discrimination. As I already mentioned that people are frustrated and depressed and have no hope for any improvement in Pakistan. I do believe this is the best time to show God to those who do not believe in God through our love. So they can see God in you and glorify Him.
What Has Been Done So Far?Here is the current status of School building:
No doubt we do not have much funds to accomplish this whole building work but we can at least finish up the roof work within the limited funding which you provided us for this great cause. Here is the estimate of the School building.

Now, amount $14,166 is required for the remaining work (installation of electricity, plumbing, inner and outer plaster, paint and flooring).

Hello Every One,
As you already know that NHCMP is not only focusing on the spiritual growth of the people but it is also focusing on the physical education too. You will be glade to hear that in our regular Bible study on Wednesday at Green Town there are some Kids, belong to The New Hope School, who are only 8-9 years old can read Bible very well. I am talking about those kids whose parents are totally unschooled.
And this is the vision of NHCMP to enhance Christian kids in education so that they will be able to defend their faith for being lived in this Islamic country. I am bringing all these things in your notice because you have a tender heart for Pakistani Christians. I am going to send you the pics of two girls (Sumara 12yrs, Zurana 13 yrs) who were baby sitters at their home in the absence of their parents. But now they are studying in The New Hope School. We are also trying to convince other parents whose daughters are working in Muslims homes, where sometime they are raped or compelled to do unethical jobs, in order to support their family. Please pray for this great mission all the time.

Hello Every Body!
Greetings! I have been very hectic. We had many programs. On December 16, 2008 I had to preach at Sutokutla Church, a new daughter church, on Luke19:10. There were almost 200 people gathered. In future that will be a strong church.
On December 22, we had a big youth conference; I had to conduct the whole program. Three hundred people were gathered. Brothers and sisters, can you imagine if I will get a regular support I can lay a foundation for a new youth church in Lahore and that will be a first youth church in the history of Pakistan. What an awesome opportunity!
On December 23, we held a program, a Christmas night special, on the school building's roof. It was all about Sunday school and The New Hope School kids talent. They performed dramas and Christian songs. Parents were encouraged to see that their kids are not only improving in secular education but in spiritual education too.
On December 25, I talked on the incarnation of Christ John 1:13, 14 and historical fact of Jesus Birth.
On Jan.1, 2009, I spoke on the importance of new birth and new creature (Jn.3:5 and 2Cor.5:17).
If you want to see the pics of these events visit the photo gallery link on the left of the page.
Unfortunately still I do not have a sponsoring church. As you know, the US economy has affected the whole world economy. Especially the 3rd world, which is totally desperate. In Pakistan, everything is getting out of the control of the Government. Industries and business are being destroyed by not having electricity and gasoline. We can only have electricity 5-6 hours out of 24 hours. You could not finish any job in this short amount of time. Public transportations fares are touching the sky. Inflation has affected each and every aspect of life. People are jobless and the crime rate is increasing. I do not know what we (Christians) have to do as a Christian for those who are loosing their jobs in my Church.
The school building is still under construction. Now we have a school building but we do not have electricity or plumbing. We also need to plaster the school building which is needed for the buildings stability. Kids are still sitting on the church building floor. It is seems heartbreaking to see them sitting on floor in this cold weather.
If we have $19,000 we can move these 40 kids to the school building. New Hope Christian Church is doing very well. In this year we have a target to reach out to three hundred families. It will be easy for us if we get good transportation to our facility. People have a thirst and hunger for the word of God but financial problems are stopping us from reaching them.
I do believe God blesses you so much. I know it may be hard for you to support NHCMP now, but in the future you can be very effective in this ministry. Your counseling and advice are always appreciated.
If you want to send support at any time, please contact Stacey. Her phone number is 208-724-9685.
I hope this email find you well and help you to know what NHCMP is doing in Pakistan.
May God bless you and Your Church,
In His Love,
Sam |

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, In
January 2007, Sam returned to Pakistan to continue his
work with the people there. Upon arriving there Sam was met with many
challenges. He moved back into his parents house, he began a long
journey of readjusting to Pakistani life after 2 and a half years in
America, he has also come to realize that the financial burden he is on
his parents is great, they are having a very difficult time making ends
meet, all of these adjustments are weighting on Sam.

Hello Bothers and Sisters in Christ,
Greetings! I am really obliged to you to the depth of my heart for your spiritual and financial support. I would like to share wonderful news. On Monday by the Grace of God we had five baptisms. Five people were baptized (Krista, who had been converted to Islam, Marian, Brandon, Richard and Mike - their names have been changed to protect their identities).
I know you would love to hear about Krista, she got married with a Muslim man five to six years back. She had 4 kids from him. Her mother is a member of our church. She had a desire for her daughter to come back in Christianity. We used to pray for her conversion to Christianity for a long time. Few months back she started to come in our church. Holy Spirit molded her heart; she started to incline toward Jesus Christ. She was really regretted on her bad choice she made in past. This Sunday when I was talking to people, who were going to be baptized next day, Krista stood up and very gently whispered in my ear and said, "I want to be baptized too but I am struggling that I have a Muslim husband and some people told me that I was not eligible to have baptized until I got divorce." I told her it does not matter whatever religion your husband belongs, if you accept Jesus as the Son of God, savior and Lord of your life you might baptize. She was really excited to hear that. Now she really needs your prayer support.
Once again thank you so much for being a so kind and generous supporter of NHCMP.
May God bless you, In His Love,
Sam
